Joinery Job Vancancies

A full time bench joiner is required to join friendly, busy and growing joinery company.

Applicants must be experienced in producing start-to-finish quality bespoke architectural joinery specialising in staircases, windows, doors, furniture and a multitude of cabinet work.

The applicant must have the ability set out and read workshop drawings, and accurately transfer them to timber for the marking out stage of the process, and then on to machining, followed by assembly and cleaning up to a high standard finish.

Experience and competence with woodworking machinery such as a spindle moulder, tenoner, planer, cross-cut and table saw is essential, as is using a range of power tools such as a router, belt sander, biscuit jointer etc.

Occasionally, the finished work will be transported to site and installed.

The successful candidate will need the following attributes:

– Honest, punctual, polite, smart, reliable and well presented.
– Work well within a team environment following instruction.
– Have the ability to work to tight deadlines under your own initiative.
– Be self-motivated with good communication skills.
– Be able to speak fluent English
– Physically fit and robust.
– Own a set of hand-tools and power-tools
– Have your own transport
